My July Studies...

President Obama:

• In Racine, WI: Stated that Economy is growing again, the recession has stopped and we avoided a depression.
• Also stated while the unemployment is 9.6% percent, its not 14%.
• He modifies Executive Order No. 13389 (The creation of the Gulf Coast Recovery and Rebuilding Council from Post Katrina):
• Reconstruction Czars will work with local authorities and tribal councils (Say what?)
• Still refuses to dispatch the US Navy to help the gulf coast.  You know have taken full ownership of this oil Spill, yet you will not let the world's best Navy and Divers assist with the clean up...you are a joke President Obama.
• Still refuses to allow states to build islands to protect shorelines. He forces Governor Bobby Jindall's hand to under take building the Sand Berms.  To exercise his power, President Obama orders an injuncture to stop the governor of Louisiana.
• Still refuses to lift moratorium on gulf drilling when two federal judges have stated the federal government do not have the power to do so.

Chris Matthews:

• Recently stated that we should be spending our way out of debt and recession. Please tell me one example of a country that successfully taxed and spent it's way out of a recession.  Just one please?
• We need to build rapid rail to get us out of recession. So if the government has to subsidise Amtrak, the nation's rail system, annually what makes people think a rapid rail would be any better?
• Wants America to stop listening to Europe for advise, but wants to build rapid rail just like them.

Arizona Immigration Reform:

• Tony LaRussa (Manager of St. Louis Cardinals)
• Tea Party people were coming to a Cardinals game to support AZ immigration reform.
• Embraces the Tea Party people expressing their views and welcomes them to the stadium and does not see an issue with them being there.
• Supports the AZ immigration reform

NASA:

• Chief of NASA stated we should reach out to the muslim world to make them feel better about them.
• Robert Gibbs states NASA Chief mis-spoke about the head role and stated the white house communicates with NASA all the time.

Once again the White House is lying. When will any one other then Fox News pick this up?

Medicaid/Medicare Czar:

• Obama went outside congress’s process for vetting because he believes republicans will block his nomination…They cannot.
• By 2013 There will not be enough money to cover everyone with pre-existing conditions
• Any Medicaid plan MUST redistribute wealth from richer to poorer to succeed. Not only nationally, but globally.
• People who live at the United States poverty line are in the top 15% of the world in wealth, and the top twenty percent of wealthy people in this country pay 85% of our taxes.

Progressive Tax Rate hikes:

• Woodrow Wilson
• 1915 Took office tax rate was 7% for people making 2 million or more
• 1917 raised from 7% to 15% to 67% by the end of the year
• Lowered threshold to one million
• 1918 Raised rate to 77%
• 1919 Lowered tax rate to 73%
• Franklin D Rooselvelt
• Tax rate started at 25% in 1931 (lowered by Presidents Coolage and Harding)
• Took office in 1932
• 1932 Raised to 63%
• 1936 Raised to 79%
• 1937 Raised 81.1%
• 1938 Lowered to 81%
• 1940 Raised to 94% for people making 200,000 or more. He originally wanted a 100% tax on people making 20,000 or more.

Department of Justice:

• Will not go after voter rolls
• Will not investigate to Black Panthers

United Nations:

• Stating Americans should give up our Air Conditions and give up our lavish lifestyles.

Black Panthers (Black equivalent of KKK):

• FBI and DoJ Dropped case against Black Panther (King Shabaz).
• Told Black Panther with night stick he cannot be around a poll in Philadelphia.
• Kalid Abdul Mohammed – Head of black panthers until 2002:
• Also wanted to kill whites including babies.
• Gave speech in 1997 in San Francisco
• Was Ella Baker a sponsor?
• Daughter of founder of Weather Underground
• Co-founded by Van Jones

2010 Banking Reform Bill:

• 2400 page bill
• Consumer Protection Agency:
• Substantial Employment opportunities for social activists groups
• Monitor transactions
• Collect data on credit card transactions
• Monitor every financial trade and all paperwork will be send to the treasury department.

Shirley Sherrod:

• Georgia based Agriculture Department official
• Why did the White House fire her so rapidly?
• Originally fired because of she was going to be on the Glenn Beck TV show
• Names Cheryl Cook as the person who asked for resignation
• Sued the federal government and won 13 million – shortly there after started working for the USDA in the Atlanta area.
• Robert Gibbs stated they called and apologized to Ms. Sherrod.

Progressive Convention:

• Obama’s administration had to convince their fellow progressives that he did accomplish something.
• Obama stated change has not come fast enough for him.
• Rachel Maddow introduced the President of US
• “The last time a president did this much in office, booze was illegal” a reference to Woodrow Wilson
• The government is going to start following Glenn Beck followers to discredit the audience.

1946 Congress is repeating itself. People were so tired of FDR and his democratic control the people threw the democrats out and elect republicans. To which end the democrats used it against them – stated the republicans are standing in the way of progress and were stomped out in the 1950 elections.
